The name change...

Little kid: Why is your facebook name Emma? Your name is not Emma.

Me: It is Emma. I changed my name.

Little kid: Why did you change your name?

Me: b/c I think it's cool to change my name and be someone else.

Little kid: lol

Me: ^_^

A mother-daughter moment...

*on the phone*
Me: Okay, I scheduled your test on Tuesday. You said Tuesday right?

Mom: Yes.

Me: It's this month (Dec.) on the 21 at 9:30 AM but be there at 9:00 AM.

Mom: Okay.

Me: Why did you want to schedule it on a Tuesday? Are you going to take the test with a friend on that day?

Mom: No. My friend already took her test and she passed. She took her test on Tuesday. I think that day is going to be a lucky day, if I take the test that day, I think I'll pass the test too.

Me: "......"



Mom is such a kid. Regardless, still <3 her very very much.

The last two characters brought back memories of a drama series I watched.
It involved a buddist, a monkey, a pig-man, and uhhh...another man.

I did research and found out it was a Chinese folktale.
