Thrifty Finds #2

So I went shopping again at Saint Vincent De Paul; this time on a 30% discount day, and bought 2 items.

I spotted this sweater...

doesn't look very appealing up-front

but the details...

were appealing enough for me to get it for my brother.

and the price, can't forget the price either, especially on a 30% discount day...

and my second purchased item

was this lace dress

with ruffle collar

and uhhh...ummm... well actually, I don't know what to call this...

a waist line?

so pretty

and girly

I defined the waist of the dress with the belt I bought from last thrifting...

Originally $9.99

But it ranged up to...

$12.86 as the total of 2 items^_^

Thrifty Finds...

Wha! Hello there! Wow, it has been nearly five months since I've blogged. Here I am again. Yesterday I went shopping around a thrift store and figured I should take the opportunity to blog. Plus, I do miss taking pictures and will not have the camera in my possession in a couple of weeks. So I'll try to blog as much as possible during the process.

On ward we go...

Yesterday I thrift-ed at Saint Vincent De Paul Thrift store on a forty percent off day and came across this

fabulous

detailed

lace skirt...

originally for...

$7.99

I've been really into skinny belts lately.

So I checked out the belt section

I picked up three belts which were originally $3.99 each.

Came out as a happy shopper...

I only spent 12.95 for 4 items. <3

^_^

Pretty awesome since I've been restraining myself from spending so much $$$ lately.

So for a while I've been looking around for some boots. One's I describe as rough, edgy, yet still feminine. I went on yesstyle and found these boots and LOVED them. I wanted to wait and watch these boots until they were on sale.

$82.00 (hugging ankle boot)......................$95.00 (folded flap boot)

Luckily for me...I didn't have to wait. I showed a girl-friend of mine these two shoes I wanted, and she responded... "OMG, I know the perfect shoes for you." ... I was skeptical of what she was going to give to me, not that I had any reason to be skeptical. I waited and she gave me a link from bakers, and sure enough. I loved them at first glance. She told me they were on sale, and the moment she said that, I was sure those shoes were going to run out of my size soon. The next day, I went and sure enough, I got the last pair of my size. I wanted to get brown but they ran out. When I had checked-out these shoes online, it didn't strike me that these boots were versatile. I learned that when I was trying the shoes on at bakers. It just blew my mind and I bought them right away.

Here they are on me in two different ways...

Look at how similar they are to the one's I was eyeing on yesstyle

I'm so glad I bought these from bakers, saved me a lot of money (69.99 sale + tax = 75.76 total) and time.

& I'm so happy with them

I snapped this picture of myself long time ago and inserted a thought bubble. The orginal work was an animation, and in the thought bubble I inserted a hamburger. lol. I decided to take this back out and edit it once again. But this time...

with him in it...

I've become a little obsessive lately. Just seeing him in "The Moon that Embraces the Sun" and watch him transition from being happy, to sad, to angry, to stern, to tear-jerking heart broken King, makes me love him. He is incredibly talented. I'm looking forward to see more of his work in the future. For the time being, I'm really enjoying the character he is playing right now, the King.

OMG, I need to make this picture smaller so I can carry it as a keychain. lol
