Snow Day

No more sleet! It actually snowed this time!!!
I woke up this morning to this.


I had errands to do this morning & I found my baby brother clearing up the snow for me. <3




I'm sure he didn't do this out of kindness, probably used my morning-errand as an excuse to be out in the snow. Who could blame him, I would too.

I mean, LOOK AT ALL THAT SNOW!

By the time I came back, the snow were all worn out from the other kids (neighbors) playing on it. So I decided to take them out where the snow was untouched.


They could have all the fun they wanted, and they were my excuse to run around and play in the snow too. ^_^


That's one good thing about having siblings.





The area was so vast...




They made snow angels.




ran around...



rolled around...






made snowballs...


even tryed to make a snowman.


but the snow was too soft to even get a little ball of snow rolling.


ended up making a castle instead. ^_^

Sleet part 2

Woke up this morning to find a huge rectangular prism ice in the kitchen sink.


The ice we collected from yesterday froze overnight in it's container.

So we did things to it. ^_^

We put the ferret on it.





We colored it.

When we were done,

They pretended to be ice artist.

Sleet part 1

Mother nature didn't give us much to play with this winter/spring.

But we made the most of it.



we slid on the ice...

even attempted a star...


then we tryed to "defrost" my car


We thought it was a good idea to collect the ice...


and when the bucket was full...


I attempted taking "pretty" pictures...

I ran inside the house...



came back with painting pens



and started doodling...

the other colors ran out, we didn't have much to work with. -_-

The name change...

Little kid: Why is your facebook name Emma? Your name is not Emma.

Me: It is Emma. I changed my name.

Little kid: Why did you change your name?

Me: b/c I think it's cool to change my name and be someone else.

Little kid: lol

A mother-daughter moment...

*on the phone*
Me: Okay, I scheduled your test on Tuesday. You said Tuesday right?

Mom: Yes.

Me: It's this month (Dec.) on the 21 at 9:30 AM but be there at 9:00 AM.

Mom: Okay.

Me: Why did you want to schedule it on a Tuesday? Are you going to take the test with a friend on that day?

Mom: No. My friend already took her test and she passed. She took her test on Tuesday. I think that day is going to be a lucky day, if I take the test that day, I think I'll pass the test too.

Me: "......"



Mom is such a kid. Regardless, still <3 her very very much.
